Hi, I'm Kerry, The Creator Behind Kdunph Diaries!

Updated: Sep 14, 2021

My full name is Kerry Renee Dunphy, otherwise known as Kdunph. My seventh-grade teacher gave me the nickname Kdunph, and for some reason, it has stuck ever since. You'll get to know me throughout this blog, but I'll try to explain who I am for you right now.

Me at the PGA Meme Tournament in NJ.

I am 24 years old, and I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Now, I live right outside of Philly. I come from a large family of seven children. I am the sixth. My family and I are very close. I never stop posting about them. I have to see them often (every other day) because sometimes a face-time call is not enough for me.

I am a hardworking person with a dash of goofball thrown in there. Balance is vital to have, you guys! I’m an avid coffee drinker, reader of self-help and rom-com novels, a fan of watching beauty tips and tricks on YouTube and spending time with my family and friends. Finding new hobbies is fun for me. I love trying out new things. I also recently got into clothing/fashion and finding out what the current trends are. Flare jeans are back in style. Were they ever out?

Me in New York City visiting my friends. I love NYC!

I've always been very into the arts ever since I was a young girl. I was a part of the plays in grade school. One year, I played the role of a grandmother. If only I could find footage of that one. I took art classes in high school and found a love for drawing and painting too. Today, I love to travel, see new places, meet new people, sing, play the piano, draw, and paint, go to concerts, all of that artsy stuff.

Me at a Post Malone concert in Atlantic City, NJ. "Sorry this wasn't bud light @postmalone."

I try to stay relaxed throughout the week by practicing yoga and letting some steam off at kickboxing class. Doing these things releases a lot of stress for me and helps me recover my poise. I think it's so important to find what you love to do.

Me in Hermosa Beach, California. The sunsets were so beautiful.

Wanting to have fun is something that's in my blood. As my mom says, I used to ask my Pre-K teacher if the class was having a party every day.

Me when I was 5:

My mom always tells me that she thinks I'm a "new soul. She says it's the way I perceive the world. If I think about it today, I can see it too.

Me in New York City around Christmas.

My motto? Be kind, always. You truly never know what anyone is going through. It's just the truth. Being a mean person for no reason will get you nowhere in life, trust me. I've seen it.

This is when my hair was lighter! Me pumpkin picking around Halloween (:

I can sense others' emotions around me. It is both a blessing and a curse. So, if you're around me and sad, I'm going to try to cheer you up. Sorry.

When it comes to my education, I went to grade school and high school in Philadelphia. When it came time for college, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in English from Penn State. Oh, how much fun that was.

I was a bartender at the bar, "The Phyrst." This is me saying my final goodbye as a Penn State student.

Today, I'm in graduate school at Full Sail University, and I plan on gaining more experiences and knowledge along the way.

My boyfriend surprised me with Full Sail gear! This is when I decided to go back to school.

When it comes to my dream job, I'd love to work within the media industry. Whether it is as a reporter or host for a television station, and become an author. I'm up for trying anything!

Hopefully, you just got the gist of who I am! Thank you for hanging out with me here on Kdunph Diaries.

I may or may not have wanted this picture taken because of the dog in the background...
